Who am I, using a single word to describe me is quite a tough thing to do. I am both introvert and extrovert. I am kind of a silent lady but also, I am pretty talkative. I enjoy working on personal projects like drawing some illustrations for my favorite animations or musicals, and at the same time I do like to communicate with other people about group projects. The very first time I fell in love with drawing was when I started attending middle school. A few friends of mine were anime stans, in an easier way to say "otaku," and they recommended some cool stuffs like One piece, Tokyo Ghoul, and various other animes that I bet most of you've never heard about. Japanese animes just grasped my attention and as most anime fans do, I began my whole experience of making my own illustrations. At that period of time, I didn't have any digital tools, so I only drew with my pencil on paper. Though I love drawing and creating my own art pieces, I haven't considered art, such as painting, animation or even design, as my future field to work on. My parents wanted me to have a so-called "proper" job and I felt kind of a pressure that I should meet their expectations. But, deep inside my mind, I still wished to study further about the field of art. This is the main reason why I chose the HASS, especially CDM and IID major. They make it possible for me to achieve both my goal and parents' expectation; studying art and getting a proper job. University life provides an experience of trying Adobe programs from Photoshop and Illustrator to After Effect and even Indesign. I also had the opportunity to struggle with a totally different program that I have ever used before, the Rhino which is a 3D design machine. While taking courses from both majors, I can figure out what I am typically interested in among various sub-art branches; marketing/commercial. Commercials in which I can communicate with viewers through my works seem very appealing to me. I want to put the story into my pieces and convey it to lots of people. These days, I am trying my best to have a close relationship with contents that deliver certain messages to their audience, in order to widen my perspective of effective ways to express one’s story. I have been spending my time watching lately released animation, following my musical fan friend to enjoy musicals. I am also highly interested in the newest form of youtuber which is called V-tuber, a youtuber who uses motion capturing system and 3D modeling for their youtube channel and live streaming. I believe in the future, these new forms of broadcasting system will be applied to various fields. Marketing and Commercial is not an exception. Through an Interaction Design course I want to learn how to utilize not only the virtual tracking system but any other types of recent techniques to interact with audiences. And eventually I wish to get an idea of making marketing contents that can provide a message that viewers can directly interact with.
